Orkut logout script solution

Scribbled on Thursday, December 27th, 2007

For All Users ( Internet explorer, Opera, Firefox etc. ):

METHOD:

This Method is simplest one. Steps are

  • Login to Orkut.
  • Open the Scrap book page (you will be logged out since the log out script has loaded when the scrap page was displayed).
  • Leave the Scarp book page opened(its important) , now open another tab or window and again login to orkut as u have been logged out due to the logout script loaded while displaying Scrap book page.
  • Now just delete the scrap containing logout script in the already opened Scrap book page (it will be deleted this time).
  • Its done, just repeat same process if someone sends you the bloody scrap again.

For firefox users

METHOD 1:

  • login to your orkut account
  • Delete the blank scrap containing “logout command” (be sure that the scripts on orkut.com is forbidden-click on “Forbid orkut.com”).
Click on Forbid orkut.com
  • then click on “Allow orkut.com” to get things normal again.
Click on Allow orkut.com
  • The only downside is that if someone again scraps you that script then u will have to start over from step 2 agai, so see method 2 also.
  • Please see that “no script” extension saves you on more than one occasion. Its a must have for security and safety of your PC and personal data.

or

METHOD 2(Recommended):

  • login to your orkut account.
  • open scrapbook, locate the blank scrap having “logout command” .
  • A “Block” tab will appear in the blank scrap.
  • click on that “Block” tab
Click on Block
  • A window will appear, click on “Ok” button.
Click on OK
larger view
  • now login again, u wont suffer from this script anymore because it has been filtered out.

Now what about a kewl video to enjoy the victory :)

The other temporary solution can be :
You go to one of your friend’s scarp book who does not have this problematic scrap so that you can send a any sample message..and ask him to send 10 message atleast to you by using REPLY option below ur scrap you sent to him …it is required because if he comes at ur scrap book to message you then he will be logged out…

by sending 10 message, your problem scrap will go to next page and you can use scrap book and others can also scrap you…Problem solved.
This is to avoid so much installation mentioned in above tricks..

yeah but the first method don’t really need any kind of installation and removes the scrap altogether without need of writing 10 or so scraps.

And yeah those extensions which i hav mentioned are a must have security addon and bandwidth saver :) They have greater role than just removing logout scrap.

Ok ..If it a case then the easiest way to sort out this :
Login in orkut via powerscarp.com and easily delete the scarp..there this script won’t work…
No need to login in two pages :)))))
