I despise the paper
Scribbled on Tuesday, January 1st, 2008WTF ? My first reaction after glancing Bioinformatics paper.
How am I gonna do justice to the subject ? My second reaction.
Ditch it ! My third and last reaction to the paper so poorly crafted.
Some random pattern that irritated me :
- All questions carry equal weightage (how u gonna divide 100 marks to six questions?)
- No mention of individual marks for each questions (How am i supposed to see the marks?)
- Spelling of Contiguous was misspelled (contigous…wth?)
- No choice in first section, all three questions are compulsor.
- How much can one elaborate a 6 line answer to get 18 marks
- Not even a single question came from 2 Units(still suffering from old syllabus syndrome?)
- First section contained question from second section(was the fellow on the booze?).
Paper setter seems to be a really pissed off professional…lol. Get some life man. Next time try to see through from student point of view and not from some uber maniac point of view.
I studied like 3 books for this subject just to face that crappy paper ? The only subject I liked this sem and was confident to score above distinction. Anyway what happened was a bad dream, let the feeling pass by.

As far exams are concerned my experience with them is a long saga. It’s a boxing match, sometimes I get get knocked out sometimes the exam.
I remember in Electronics-2 paper, for the past 4 years there was just BJT designing that was asked, 4 years, 8 papers only BJT designing. There was just 1 exam I think that was way back in December 04 that JFET designing was asked. Guess what? JFET comes for us! I mean WTF!!

Ohh sh!t I dont even remember anything more than that BJT and JFET are some kinda transistors and were in DEM book :p
I don’t know how Kenshin manages it…lolz.
