[Pre-Baked] Intel 965 GMA X3000 xorg.conf

Here is mine manually configured and tested xorg.conf file, Compiz fusion works like charm.

Replace it with your xorg.conf file if u are not satisfied with the performance.

Here is how to copy using command line

Caution: You may have to set Monitor parameters as mine is a LG 700E 17′ CRT and supports 1280×1024 at 60Hz max

For Ubuntu

  • Download file from HERE
sudo cp path_to_the_downloaded_file /etc/X11/

For others:

  • Download file from HERE
  • enter to root terminal by typing su followed by pressing enter(return) key
cp path_to_the_downloaded_file /etc/X11/
