Theory of a Deadman

Official Website Myspace Profile Last.fm Page Lyrics

First I came to know about this band while playing “Indigo Prophecy“. While the game was an instant hit, this band made it to my favorites too. An alternative rock band with tight vocals. Lyrics are about relationships between couples and they are explicit sometimes but the execution is superb.

Albums released:

Self Titled Album

self titled album released in 2002

Gasoline featuring their best - Santa Monica

Released this year. All or Nothing, Hate My Life are notable track

    I liked:

All Or Nothing - Scars & Souvenirs
Bad Girlfriend - Scars & Souvenirs

    The rest are OK.

    @Manan
Yeah All or Nothing feels like the starting music in “The Cinderella Man”
Bad Girlfriend’s got explicit lyrics :p
In general I like most of their tracks (though few sucks to my taste)

Recommend some more bands that play similar stuff. I have been listening to these guys non-stop.

Anything that comes closer to TOAD is Nickelback and Hinder.

Though I don’t like Nickelback much. Irony is that Nickelback is responsible for the first break of TOAD :p

I will be coming up with another review on sunday.

Well, there is Hoobastank that play a similar sound. Another band I like is Switchfoot.

TOADM sound too much like Nickleback, which puts me off. The production is solid and the hooks are catchy enough in a very contrived way.

I HYPED Theory of A Deadman on EverHYPE and scored it 23%, which I think is very accurate.

If you get on there, rate me a 5 on it and request friendship.
