Here is mine manually configured and tested xorg.conf file, Compiz fusion works like charm.
Replace it with your xorg.conf file if u are not satisfied with the performance.

Open a terminal window
Type this command in the terminal
gedit .gconf/apps/nautilus/preferences/%gconf.xml
